Who We Are
New Hope Church is located in the heart of Queens, NY and serves a multicultural community in the Jamaica neighborhood, surrounded by nations, languages, and religions. Incorporated in 1997, New Hope has embraced the mission of "Connecting people to a life satisfied in Jesus." Attendees come from different parts of New York City and Nassau County, with an evening service attracting those with Sunday morning commitments. In 2015, New Hope helped transform an ESL center in Jackson Heights into a daughter church plant, and throughout the 2010s, the church supported a Bengali church planter focused on reaching local communities.
New Hope has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to missions and church planting. The church has supported partnerships in Queens and overseas, including El Rapha Ministries in Bangladesh, Guatemala Baptist Theological Seminary, and various local initiatives through Urban Nations Outreach. The congregation has undertaken mission trips to Bangladesh, India, and Guatemala, and even sent a missionary family to Bangladesh, furthering New Hope’s global gospel impact. The church supports ministry and outreach in Pakistan through a member family who equips ministers and coordinates ministry overseas.
